Ingredients

16 servings
  • 8 ozready cook lasagna noodles
  • 1 lbground beef
  • 1 cupcelery finely chopped
  • 3/4onion finely chopped
  • 1garlic clove minced
  • 2 tbspdried crushed basil
  • 1 tbspdried oregano
  • 3/4 tspsalt
  • 1/2 tsppepper
  • 1/2 tspItalian herb seasoning
  • 1 cuplight cream
  • 1/2 cupwhite wine
  • 2 cupshredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 cupshredded gouda cheese
  • 12 ozricotta cheese
  • 1slightly beaten egg
  • 12 ozshredded mozarella

Steps

  1. 1

    preheat oven to 375°F

  2. 2

    In a large skillet cook beef, celery, onion and garlic until beef is browned and veggies are tender. Stir in basil, oregano, salt, pepper and Italian herb seasoning. Add cream, wine cheddar and gouda cheeses, stir until cheese melts. Remove from heat

  3. 3

    Stir together ricotta cheese and egg.

  4. 4

    Layer as such: noodles, meat sauce, ricotta cheese, mozarella cheese. Repeat 2 more times.

  5. 5

    Bake for 30 to 35 min. Let stand.for 10 min.
