preheat oven to 375°F

cream butter add sugar and continue creaming. add vanilla and stir. mix in the flour and salt, then add milk and chocolate, and mix together. roll in 1 1/2 inch balls and dip top in peanuts. place on baking sheet and press thumb in center. bake about 10 to 12 minutes. allow cookies to cool while making chocolate filling.

filling: melt chocolate over double boiler. add the rest of the ingredients and mix. cool for about 5 minutes, fill centers of cookies and let slightly set before serving.
