Ingredients

  • 4chicken breast
  • 1 1/4 tspcumin
  • 1 tbspchili powder
  • 1/4 tsppaprika
  • 1 1/2 tspsalt
  • 1/2 tspblack pepper
  • 1/3 cupchicken broth
  • 1/3 cupchopped cilantro
  • 2limes
  • 1 largeonion chopped
  • 1jalapeno seeded chopped
  • 4 clovegarlic
  • 1 tbspolive oil

Steps

  1. 1

    heat oil saute onion 5min

  2. 2

    add cumin, garlic, chili powder, paprika saute 2 min

  3. 3

    deglaze pan with broth turn off heat

  4. 4

    sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper add to crock pot

  5. 5

    squeeze lime on top add cilantro, jalpeno, pour onion mix on top

  6. 6

    cook on low 3 to 5 hours until cooked

  7. 7

    remove chicken from crock pot shred and put in bowl

  8. 8

    scoop out onion mix add to chicken

  9. 9

    place in containers add juice to the chicken before freezing
