Ingredients

25 pieces
  • 1 cupwhole wheat flour
  • 5 tbspghee
  • 3/4 cupGrated jaggery
  • 1/4 tspcardamon powder
  • 1 tbspedible gaund (gum) Stir fried in hot ghee
  • 1 tbspchopped almonds
  • 1 tbspchopped pistachios

Steps

  1. 1

    Melt ghee in a non stick pan.

  2. 2

    Add whole wheat flour and saute for 15 minutes in a slow flame till it turns golden brown in colour stirring continously.

  3. 3

    Remove from flame.

  4. 4

    Add jaggery and cardamon powder and mix well.

  5. 5

    Add stir fried edible gum and mix well.

  6. 6

    Stir well till the jaggery melts and the mixture is mixed well.

  7. 7

    Add chopped almonds and chopped pistachios.

  8. 8

    Pour the mixture in a greased thali and spread it with the Base of a small bowl.

  9. 9

    Cut into square pieces while still warm.

  10. 10

    Garnish with chopped Almonds and pistachios.

  11. 11

    Store in an air tight container.

  12. 12
