Ingredients

  • Cocktail Drink
  • 2 ozBourbon
  • 1Sugar Cube
  • 3 dashAngostura Bitters
  • 1Marachino Cherry
  • 1 sliceof Orange Peel
  • 1/4shot glass of water
  • 2"Bar" spoonfuls of Marchino Cherry Juice
  • 1 largeIce Cube

    NOTE: Do not muddle cherry or orange peel

  2. 2

    Place sugar cube in rocks glass and soak with 3 dashes of bitters

  3. 3

    Add 1/4 shot glass of water and 2 "bar" spoonfuls of cherry juice

  4. 4

    Muddle and stir well to blend and break up all sugar clumps

  5. 5

    Add 3 ice cubes and 2 shots of Bourbon; stir well.

  6. 6

    Slice orange peel and scrape off the pith (white stuff on inside of peel)

  7. 7

    Remove semi melted cubes; add Large Ice Cube and 1 cherry

  8. 8

    Squeeze peel over glass to release oils, rub around the rim, and put in the drink. Done. Enjoy a mans drink!

    Bourbon Preference: Makers Mark or Bulleit. Note: Large solid cube keeps it cold without watering down
