Here is another version of roast potatoes that our family loves. They are super delicious and easy to make.

Peel, wash and cut the potatoes into small cubes. Wash again to remove the starch then dry them with a kitchen cloth

In a large heavy frying pan, pour in the oil and let it heat up. Put in the dried potato cubes

Add the paprika, beef masala, garlic and salt to taste. Stir to mix as it starts to fry. Continue turning the potatoes every few minutes as they fry (about 10 minutes). The potatoes should be al dente (still have a bite to them)

Switch off the cooker and transfer the potatoes to an oven tray and bake at 200 degrees turning them every 10 minutes. Cook for 30-40 minutes depending on how crispy you want them.

Serve while still hot

Enjoy with an accompaniment of your choice. Here it's been accompanied by kachumbari and a baked omelette cupcake.
