measure 2 pots of water (3.5 C each), and bring to boil

add rice and lentils into separate pots

reduce heat to simmer for 20 min

mix in olive oil: cumin, red chili, black pepper, salt, and whatever else you feel would be tasty

combine rice, lentils, and oil mixture into a single pot and add another cup of boiling water and continue simmering for another 20 min

add extra spices, precooked meat, and raw vegetables

Remove from heat and consume/store
