Stuffed Chicken Breast

Ingredients

  1. 6boneless chicken breast butterflied
  2. 1lemon pepper
  3. 1roll of Jimmy Deans Sage sausage
  4. 1 largevadalia onion
  5. 1 largegreen pepper
  6. 1 largered pepper
  7. 2 cupof thinly slice cabbage (optional)
  8. 15toothpicks

Cooking Instructions

    preheat oven to 375

  2. 2

    get your butcher to butterfly your chicken breast or do it yourself.

  3. 3

    sprinkle lemon pepper on both side of your chicken breast.

  4. 4

    put sage sausage, veggies and cabbage (optional) in the middle of the chicken breast.

  5. 5

    roll the chicken breast and hold in place by using toothpicks

  6. 6

    spray a glass cooking dish with cooking spray and lay chicken in dish.

  7. 7

    cook until golden brown. ( about 30-40 mins)

  8. 8

    remove from oven and serve immidiately. this recipe is also great for butterflied pork chops.

Hiiii! I'm a wife and mother of 2.5 (we're expecting :-) ). I work almost 70 hours a week, do housework, laundry and take care of my growing family so mealtime has to be prepared quickly and be hearty. Also since this is a time we all get together as a family (instead of take-out on the car ride home), I try to make our meals different and special!
