Ingredients

  1. 5 cupapples, peeled & sliced (or pears, peaches)
  2. 3 tbspsugar
  3. 1/2old fashioned rolled oats
  4. 1/2brown sugar
  5. 1/4 cupall purpose flour
  6. 1/4 tspnutmeg
  7. 1/4 tspcinnamon
  8. 1/4 cupbutter
  9. 1/4 cupchopped nuts (or additional oats)

Cooking Instructions

    Place fruit in 8x8 baking dish and toss with 2-4 tbsp sugar.

    Preheat oven to 375.

    In medium bowl, combine oats, brown sugar, flour, and spices. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in nuts if using. Sprinkle topping over fruit.

    Bake at 375 for 30-35 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm w/ vanilla ice cream!
