Ingredients

  1. 1 lbhamburg
  2. 2hot italian sausage links, casing removed
  3. 1 smallonion diced
  4. 128 ounce can tomatoes
  5. 112 ounce can tomato psste
  6. 1 tbspsugar
  7. 1 1/2 tspsalt
  8. 1/2 tspOregano
  9. 1/2 tspthyme
  10. 1/2 tspcrushed red pepper
  11. 1/4 tspgarlic salt
  12. 1Bay leaf
  13. 14lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
  14. 2eggs
  15. 115 oz. container ricotta cheese
  16. 116 oz. mozzarella cheese, diced

Cooking Instructions

    Brown meat and drain

    Add tomatoes and their liquid

  3. 3

    add next 8 ingredients

  4. 4

    Heat to boiling

  5. 5

    Cover and simmer 30 minutes

  6. 6

    Combine eggs with ricotta and parsley

  7. 7

    Pam 9x13 pan

  8. 8

    layer. tiny amount of meat sauce

  9. 9

    layer noodles, ricotta. 1/2 mozzarella, 1/2 meat sauce.

    repeat, noodles, cheese, meat

  11. 11

    during last 5 minutes of baking time. I sprinkle parmesan cheese over top.

    Bake at 375°F 45 minutes
