Ingredients

  • 3/4 cupCrisco
  • 1 cupBrown Sugar
  • 1/2 cupWhite Sugar
  • 1Egg
  • 1/4 cupWater
  • 1 tspVanilla or Almond Extract or 1 OF each if dobling recipe
  • 1 cupFlour
  • 1 tspsalt
  • 1/2 tspbaking SODA
  • 3 cupRolled Quaker Oats
  • 1OPTTTONAL `-2 cups dried cranberries &/or walnuts

Steps

  1. 1

    I usually double recipe

  2. 2

    Preheat oven to 350 & bake abott 11 minutes

  3. 3

    Mix in order

  4. 4

    Drop by Teaspoonfuls onto GREASED cookie sheet - or use parchment paper

  5. 5

    Take off baking sheet immediately

  6. 6

    they will look only partlbaked

  7. 7

    If left too long in oven they will become hard & overcooked
