Slow Cooked Italian Meatballs

I usually make these for potlucks at work. I get so many compliments, and there is never any leftovers. My family loves them as well.

Steps
- 1
Combine all ingredients except the sauce and use your hands to mix together. If I feel like it needs more spice, I will add more breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper depending on how much meat I have.
- 2
start forming the meatballs rolling pieces of the meat in your hands
- 3
slightly pan fry meatballs so they are slightly browned on the outside
- 4
Pour sauce into crockpot. I usually add some different Italian spices to the sauce. I also sometimes add red pepper spice to give it a kick.
- 5
add slightly browned meatballs into the crockpot
- 6
Allow meatballs to cook in crockpot for 6-8 hours (the longer the better). I let it cook sometimes up to 10 hours.
- 7
Spoon off excess grease that rose to the top when meatballs are done cooking. Stir and then serve.
