Steps

Mix sugar, salt, yeast and flour in a large mixing bowl.

Add water slowly in with hands until a dry yet soft dough is formed.

Take the dough out of the bowl and knead it for about 10 minutes so that dough is one ball. If your dough is too dry add a little water and if it is too wet add a little flour.

Put the dough in a sandwich bag and leave in a warm place like the edge of a warm oven for about 5 minutes.

Once the dough has finished spread it out into one large sheet.

Spread dried fruit,cinnamon, ginger, syrup (and sugar if you want it sweet) evenly across the dough sheet.

Roll dough sheet in to one long sausage shape.

Cut into 8 slices.

Place slices into greased tray.

Bake at 160°-180° for about 15 minutes.
