Steps
- 1
Preheat oven to 250°
- 2
Prepare a roasting pan with foil and weigh the corn puffs. Put the corn puffs in the pan and set aside.
- 3
In a two quart sauce pan, combine corn syrup, brown sugar, and butter over medium heat. Stir often to make sure it does not burn.
- 4
When the sauce begins to bubble around the edges take off the heat and add the baking soda. This will make the coating expand a little bit and turn a lighter color.
- 5
Pour the coating over the pops you set aside and mix well with a rubber spatula.
- 6
Put in oven to bake for 45 minutes HOWEVER you have to take it out every 10 minutes to stir it with the rubber spatula.
- 7
When it is done cooking separate into whatever size prices you want. IF YOU DO NOT DO THIS IT WILL BE A CARAMEL BRICK!
- 8
You should probably double it next time...
