Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cupflour
  • 1/3 cupsugar
  • 2 tspbaking powder
  • 1/2 tspsalt
  • 8 tbspbutter
  • 8 tbsporange juice
  • 1/2 cupmini chocolate chips

Steps

    Preheat oven to 400°F

  2. 2

    Whisk together dry ingredients.

  3. 3

    Add butter (cubed and chilled) using fork or pastry cutter until mix resembles coarse crumbles.

  4. 4

    Stir in chocolate chips.

  5. 5

    Mix in orange juice.

  6. 6

    Roll out dough on floured surface.

  7. 7

    Roll out 1/2 inch thick and cut out scones.

  8. 8

    Bake 12 minutes until golden brown.
