Ingredients

2 servings
  • 4sausages, plain pork, Cumberland or Sicilian are nice
  • 1onion
  • 1 tspdried oregano
  • 1/2 tspground Cayenne pepper
  • 1 canchopped tomatoes
  • 4 handfulspasta shapes
  • 2 tspchopped basil
  • 2 tbspgrated parmesan cheese

  1. 1

    Chop the sausages into chunks, and fry in a pan over a medium heat until browned.

  2. 2

    Chop the onion and add to the pan and cook until softened.

  3. 3

    Add 1 tsp dried oregano, 1/2 tsp ground cayenne pepper and the tin of chopped tomatoes to the pan, and put a pan of water on to boil for the pasta. Cook the sauce until reduced and nice and thick.

  4. 4

    Cook the pasta according to the pack instructions. Add some chopped Basil to the pasta sauce at the end of cooking.

  5. 5

    Serve the pasta covered with the sauce, and sprinkled with ground black pepper and grated Parmesan cheese.
