Ingredients

8 servings
  • 1 lbground beef
  • 1 lbground sausage (I use Johnsonville italian)
  • 1 cupItalian breadcrumbs
  • 2 cupshredded chedder cheese
  • 2 largeeggs
  • 1 packagesonion soup mix
  • 1onion, chopped
  • gravy
  • 2 envelopebrown gravy
  • 2 cupwater

    Combine ground beef, sausage, onion, soup mix, eggs, and breadcrumbs in a bowl.

  2. 2

    Add shredded cheese and mix together.

  3. 3

    Spray a shallow baking dish with non-stick spray.

  4. 4

    Form mixture into an oval in pan.

  5. 5

    Cover with foil and bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.

  6. 6

    Remove foil and continue baking for another 10-15 minutes as necessary.

  7. 7

    Remove and let cool 10 minutes.

  8. 8

    Slice into thick pieces and add to your mashed potatoes.

  9. 9

    Make gravy as directed. Pour over and enjoy!
