Ingredients

  • 1 tbspOlive oil
  • 1/2 lbGround beef
  • 1/2Chopped large onion
  • 2 cloveMinced garlic
  • 1/4 cupChopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 tspDried crumbled basil
  • 1/4 tspDried crumbled oregano
  • 1/2 tspPaprika
  • 1 can360 organic diced tomatoes w Italian seasoning 14.5 oz
  • 1 canMuriel glen organic tomatoe sauce 8 oz can
  • 1/2 tspGarlic powder
  • 1/4 cupAndres extra dry champagne

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat oil and brown beef on medium-high heat ( 6 min )

  2. 2

    Remove beef from skillet

  3. 3

    Sauté onion and garlic ( 5 min )

  4. 4

    Stir in spices ( 1 min )

  5. 5

    Return beef to skillet and add tomatoes, tomato sauce and champagne

  6. 6

    Reduce heat and simmer until thick

  7. 7

    Serve with pasta
