  1. 1 largebutternut squash, cubed (7 to 8 cups)
  2. 1/4 cupmaple syrup or honey
  3. 3 tbspextra light olive oil
  4. 3/4 tspground cinnamon
  5. 1/4 tspsalt

    Preheat the oven to 400° F.

  2. 2

    Toss the squash with the maple syrup or honey and oil.

  3. 3

    Stir the salt and ground cinnamon together.

  4. 4

    Arrange the prepared squash in a single layer on a foil-lined baking sheet, sprinkle the cinnamon-salt mixture over it, and then roast it, stirring once, for 35 to 40 minutes, until the squash turns golden brown.
