A yummy recipe for a healthy breakfast by me with a yummy twist as well. This one is infact a very lovely start to your day. Both the flours are used in fusion for the taste. And to make them a little more delicious, I added some spices too. These pooris are done very quickly too and are a perfect choice for a perfect kickstart to your day.

Easy and yummy. Perfect option for Tea-time as well or for an afterschool treat too. These can be enjoyed on their own. That is why these make a good choice with a hot beverage on any day you wish to have something super deliciously crunchy and healthy. The best part is that they are so very flavourful and filling too.

Ingredients

  1. 3/4 cupwheat flour
  2. 1 cupJowar (Sorghum) Flour
  3. 1 tspSalt
  4. 1 tbspKasoori Methi
  5. 1 tbspRed chilli flakes
  6. 1 tbspOil
  7. 3/4 cupWater

Steps

    Make a smooth dough using all the ingredients.

  2. 2

    Cover and set aside for about 15 minutes.

  3. 3

    Heat oil on a medium flame. Divide the dough into 14-15 equal sized balls.

  4. 4

    Roll out pooris without pressing hard while doing so. Roll them with light hands without much pressure.

  5. 5

    Deep fry them on both the sides until golden brown. Serve hot with curry leaves podi and tomato chutney.
