  • 200 gramsunsalted butter
  • 200 gramsdemerara sugar
  • 200 gramshoney
  • 400 gramsporridge oats
  • 50 gramsmixed nuts/seeds

    Put the butter, sugar, and honey in a saucepan and heat, until the butter has melted and the sugar has dissolved.

  2. 2

    Add the oats and nuts/seeds and mix well.

  3. 3

    Transfer the oat mixture to a prepared cake tin and spread to about 2cm (¾in) thick.

  4. 4

    Bake in a preheated oven at 180C/350F/Gas 4 for 15-20 minutes.
