Cut up ginger, onion, tomato.

Add ginger, tomatoes, onion, seasoning and water to skillet. Bring water to a boil, then simmer the mixture.

Cut skin off of chicken thighs, then add skinless thighs and legs to simmering water.

Cook chicken for about 45 minutes on medium heat.

Once chicken is finished, shred the thighs and add them back into the broth.

Remove the slices of ginger so that the flavor doesn't over power the entire dish.
