  3. 2/3 cupSugar
  4. 1 tspvanilla
  5. 1 pinchSalt
  6. 1Flavoring or Fruit Optional
  7. 1Vanilla Bean, scraped, Optional

    Whisk ingredients in a med. saucepan, bring to light boil over med heat, remove and cool to room temp (15+ min).

  2. 2

    Transfer to ice cream maker.

  3. 3

    Enjoy or put in freezer

  4. 4

    Yield 1 1/2 guarts
