8 tbspor 1 stick unsalted butter
2/3 cupfirmly packed dark brown sugar
1/4 cupsugar
1 tspvanilla extract
2 largeeggs
1 1/4 cupsifted all purpose flour
1/2 tspsalt
1/2 tspbaking soda
1 cupsemisweet chocolate chips
1 cupraisins
1 cuppecans coarsely chopped

heat oven to 350

cream together butter and sugars til fluffy

add vanilla and eggs and beat well

sift together flour, salt, and baking soda

add to butter mixture

beat again. Stir in chocolate chips, raisins and pecans.

form into 2 and one half inch balls, and press to 1 inch thick with palm of hand

bake for 20 minutes or until golden

remove to wire racks go cool
