Ingredients

  1. 6 cupold-fashioned rolled oats
  2. 3 cupsweetened shredded coconut
  3. 3 cupsliced almonds
  4. 1 cupvegetable oil
  5. 3/4 cuphoney
  6. 3 cuprice crispies
  7. 1 1/2 cupdried cherries
  8. 1 1/2dried cranberries
  9. 1roasted unsalted cashews
  10. 2 tspcinnamon

    preheat oven to 350°F

  2. 2

    Toss the oats, coconut, almonds together in a large bowl

  3. 3

    Whisk together the oil and honey in a small bowl.

  4. 4

    Pour the liquids over the oat mixture, add the cinnamon, and stir with a wooden spoon until all the oats and nuts are coated

  5. 5

    Pour onto a 13 by 18 by 1-inch sheet pan.

  6. 6

    Bake, stirring occasionally with a spatula, until the mixture turns a nice, even, golden brown , about 45 minutes

  7. 7

    Remove the granola from the oven and allow to cool, stirring occasionally

  8. 8

    Add the dried fruits and cashews

  9. 9

    Store the cooled granola in an airtight container
