Ingredients

  1. 3 cupChopped spinach -
  2. 1Chopped onion - medium
  3. 2 tbspChopped bottle gourd / lauki -
  4. 2 tbspChopped carrot -
  5. 2 tbspChopped potato -
  6. 1Chopped tomato -
  7. 1/2 tspTurmeric powder -
  8. 1/2 tspRed chilli powder -
  9. 1/4 cupChana dal / bengal gram -
  10. 1/2 tspGinger garlic paste -
  11. to tasteSalt -
  12. 2 tbspOil -

Steps

25 mins
  1. 1

    Wash and chop spinach finely.

  2. 2

    Wash and soak chana dal for two hours.

  3. 3

    Chop all veggies in a vessel.

  4. 4

    Add all ingredients.

  5. 5

    Pressure cook for 15 mins.

  6. 6

    Once cooled,mix well and mash it.

  7. 7

    Heat oil in a pan.

  8. 8

    Add ginger garlic paste and saute for one mins.

  9. 9

    Add in the spinach and chana dal and mix well.

  10. 10

    Serve hot with chapaties.
