Ingredients

  1. 300 gramscorn fusilli
  2. 200 gramsrise nodels
  3. 1 mediumcauliflower
  4. 1 largezucchini
  5. 250 gramscottage cheese
  6. 1/2 cupmilk
  7. 1 largeegg
  8. 1 largeonion, chopped
  9. 1/2 tspbasil
  10. 1 pinchmint
  11. 1 pinchground black pepper
  12. 1/4 tspchili powder
  13. 1/4 tspsalt

    cook pasta according to the package directions.

    cook cauliflower in salted water until crisp- tender.

  3. 3

    Grate the zucchini on large-scale grater. Put in a bowl and toss in the salt. Leave it for few minutes and then extract excess water from zucchini.

    fry the onion on the rapeseed oil for about 3 minutes or until the onion turns a very light gold colour. Add grated zucchinni and fry for 3- 5 more minutes.

    blend cauliflower with zucchini

    Blend cottage cheese, milk, egg with spices and herbs in a bowl.

    Prepare baking dish (I have two 25 cm x15 cm rectangle size baking dishes). Spread 1/2 of corn pasta in the bottom of a baking dish. Arrange 1/2 cauliflower and zucchini over the corn pasta. Spread with one half of the cottage cheese mixture. Cover with one half of rise noodles. Top with mozzarella cheese. Do the same with the second half of ingredients.

    Bake on 350 oven for 25 minutes.

Hi, my name is Ivana, I live in Slovakia in the middle of Europe. Slovak cuisine is very specific- our traditional meal is "bryndzové halušky".It´s a kind of dumplings (from flour, grated potatos and water) with salty sheep curd and fried bacon. Very popular are baked meat (pork, goose, duck), cabbage specialities, „lokše“ (fried flatbread) or „trdelník“ (sweet pastry cylinders backed on wooden stick). I had to give up all those ​delicacies​ after I was diagnosed histamine intolerance. What does histamin intolerance simply means? ​It is important to eat foods that are low in histamine levels. ​Already half a year I follow a strict diet and I feel much better. No more gastric problems, headaches and weakness. Most of the recipes that I will gradually add will therefore low-histamine, gluten-free or lactose-free. I believe that you'll love them as I do ☺
