Ingredients

  1. 1 kgmutton
  2. 1bowl(small) curd
  3. 1 tspginger garlic paste
  4. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  5. 1 tspcoariander powder
  6. 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  7. 1 tspgaram masala powder
  8. to tastesalt
  9. 1/2 tsplemon juice
  10. 400 grmsspinach
  11. 1/2 bowlcoariander leaves
  12. 1/4mint leaves
  13. 4grn chillies
  14. 1 tspwhole cumin seeds
  15. whole garam masalas(grn card 3,bay leaves 2,blk card1, cloves6, cinnamon1 inch, pepper 6-8.)
  16. 2onions
  17. 1tomato
  18. 2 tsproasted crushed kasoori methi
  19. ginger julienned for garnishing

Steps

  1. 1

    Marinade mutton pieces with1/2 bowl curd,ginger garkic paste, turmeric, chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, lemon juice and salt.

    Blanch spinach in salted boiling water for a minute..drain.

  3. 3

    Grind spinach grn chilli coriander and mint to paste

  4. 4

    Heat a thick pan. add whole garam masalas and cumin seeds and roast.

  5. 5

    When nice aroma is given out add onion till golden and add tomatoes and cook well.

  6. 6

    Add the mutton and cook on high for two mins(stir continuosly)

  7. 7

    Add 1/2 remaining yogurt, 1 cup water and bring to boil.cook for 4-5 whistle or till cooked.ooen the lid add the spinach mixture.cook till all mix well.

  8. 8

    Sprinkle kasoori methi and serve hot garnish with Ginger julienned.
