Drain the oil from the cans and flake the tuna into a bowl.

Finely chop the carrot and half onion. Sauté them in a little oil, seasoning with salt and pepper.

Meanwhile, add the egg and dried parsley to the tuna. Then add the sautéed vegetables to make the mixture, and mix in some breadcrumbs until the mixture holds together and you can form patties.

Shape the mixture into burgers of your desired thickness and coat them with breadcrumbs.

Cook the burgers on a hot griddle or skillet with a little oil over high heat. Serve with potatoes, vegetables, salad, or any sides you like!
