Ingredients

2 servings
  • 4 tablespoonsyogurt
  • 1 cupcooked chickpeas
  • 2 clovesgarlic, crushed
  • 1 loafLebanese bread, toasted
  • 2 tablespoonsbutter
  • Salt to taste
  • Pinchcumin for garnish
  • Pinchdried mint
  • 2 dropsvinegar
  • 1 tablespoontahini
  • Fried cashews for garnish

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat the chickpeas in a pot with a little water.

  2. 2

    After boiling, drain the chickpeas and place them in a bowl. Add the toasted bread on top.

  3. 3

    In another bowl, mix the yogurt with the tahini, vinegar, salt, garlic, and a pinch of cumin. Stir well, then add a little chickpea water and mix until the mixture is smooth.

  4. 4

    Pour the yogurt mixture over the bread.

  5. 5

    Melt the butter in a pan, then pour it over the yogurt.

  6. 6

    Sprinkle a little dried mint and add the cashews.
