Steps

Prepare baking tin 28cm×10cm or smaller. Smear the tin with margarine or using baking paper.

Pre heat oven 150C

In a bowl, beat the margarine for 8-10 minutes until a bit pale and fluffy. You may substitute margarine with butter.

While beating the margarine, add one by one egg into the pale margarine.

Add the sugar and keep mixing it.

Add the flour, salt almond powder and baking powder.

Mix it well for another 3 minutes until the flour is homogenized with the batter.

Option: Add chocolate flake and whisk it into the batter.

Pour the batter into the tin.

Bake the cake for 60 minutes with top bottom heat at 160°C until it is golden brown.
