Vegetable Pizza Pockets

Most of us are fond of pizza. Therefore I thought of making something innovative by using the flavour and ingredients of pizza. With each bite of the pockets, you will get a strong and delicious taste of pizza along with molten cheese. This can be easily served as an evening snack during a festival or family get-together.

Most of us are fond of pizza. Therefore I thought of making something innovative by using the flavour and ingredients of pizza. With each bite of the pockets, you will get a strong and delicious taste of pizza along with molten cheese. This can be easily served as an evening snack during a festival or family get-together.

At first prepare the stuffing.

Heat some vegetable oil in a wok and add the onion and saute it well till translucent.

Add the rest of the chopped vegetables.

Add some salt, mix it and cover it with a lid in a medium flame.

Saute it in between.

When the vegetables are almost cooked, add the pizza sauce, oregano, chilli flakes and black pepper.

Mix them well and remove it from the flame.

Now in a container, add the maida, Vegetable oil, baking soda and 1/4 teaspoon salt and mix them well.

Now knead the maida by adding some lukewarm water in it. It shouldn't be too dry or too moist.

Now make small balls out of it and flatten it with the rolling pin.

Cut the edges with a knife and give it a square shape.

Add the stuffing in between, and add some grated cheese.

Fold it and add some water to it's ends and press them. To give a nice design u may press the ends with a fork.

Now heat some oil in a wok and deep fry them.

Serve hot with some tomato ketchup
