Bacon wrapped jalepinos

Cooking Instructions

pre heat oven to 425°F. First you hollow out jalepinos. cut the top off and scoop out the insides of the pepper. then cut one slit into the jalepino from top to bottom. do not cut in half completely. take your choice of cream cheese and fill the jalepino with cream cheese. take one piece of bacon and wrap it around the jalepino and stick a toothpick through the bacon and pepper. holding the bacon on the jalepino and holding the cream cheese inside.

after finishing your jalepinos and putting them in a pan. take your cilantro chop it up and slightly sprinkle it all over your jalepinos.

wen done assembling stick pan in oven until bacon is completely cooked. turning the peppers once or twice to fully cook bacon. you may have to drain ur pan and put back in the oven. will acumulate a lot of juices.

cook for about 30-45min.. pull out of ovan and let cool for 5 min. cream cheese filling will be very hot.

I've made plenty of different stuffed jalapenos but this is by far the best. it took a while but they came out awesome. It is very important that you coat these 3 times or the filling may leak out. If you don't like a crispy crust you can coat it twice instead. lizh0412 -
