If there is something I love doing its making crepes. These little yummy morsels of goodness are totally addictive. You can make crepes sweet or savory, either way, you will devour them in one sitting!
Steps
- 1
In a large bowl pour the All Purpose Flour, add the Salt, Baking Powder, Baking Soda and Cocoa Powder
- 2
Pour milk into a medium bowl and add melted butter
- 3
Add the beaten egg
- 4
Add sugar
- 5
Add vanilla essence
- 6
Add the red food coloring
- 7
Mix the wet ingredients until well combined
- 8
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and whisk until you get a smooth runny batter
- 9
Heat a non stick pan on medium. Crepes are better cooked on a non stick pan so that it will be easier to flip as they do not stick. Plus cleaning will be a breeze!
- 10
Cook until bubbles start to appear on top and the crepes loose the shine. Flip the red velvet crepes and cook the second side for 2-3 minutes. Pour over chocolate sauce and sprinkle with icing sugar. Enjoy!
