  • 250 gramsReady to Eat Lentils
  • 1 tspGaram Masala
  • 400 gramsBeef Mince
  • 3Tomatoes
  • 1 smallpiece of ginger
  • 2Spring Onions
  • 1Chilli
  • 1 bunchFresh Coriander
  • 1 tspTumeric
  • 1 tspHoney
  • 2 tspRogan Josh Curry Paste
  • 400 gramsCoconut Milk
  • 4 tbspPlain Yoghurt
  • 1Lemon
  • 300 gramsBasmati Rice
  • 5Cardamom Pods
  • 200 gramsBeans
  • 200 gramsFrozen Peas
  • 1Poppadoms

  1. 1

    Put the lentils into a bowl with salt, pepper, garam masala and mince. Mix together with clean hands, divide the mixture in half then with wet hands, mould into 6 sausages and fry in pan with oil.

    Cook rice, 2 cups of boiling water and cardamom pods in casserole pan with sliced beans.

  3. 3

    Blend together tomatoes with ginger, spring onions, half the chilli, coriander stalks, turmeric, honey, curry paste and coconut milk until combined.

  4. 4

    Add sauce into lofts pan, bring to the boil, simmer and season to taste.

  5. 5

    Add peas to the rice, mix and cook for 5 more minutes.

  6. 6

    Sprinkle with chilli and coriander, serve with yoghurt, poppadoms and lemon wedges.
