For half litre of milk add one cup of sugar and keep on stirring in non-stick kadai in medium flame.

After some time colour will change and will become slightly yellowish. It is for this colour change we are adding sugar first itself.

When it becomes thick switch off the gas and add a pinch of baking soda to it and keep on stirring.

First it will become little watery and after sometime it will become thick. But keep stirring till it becomes thick. No need to keep on gas after adding baking soda.

Ready homemade Condensed Milk...usw in kheer, ice-cream, milk shakes, any dessert.
