Ingredients

3 servings
  1. 250 gramsSpaghetti
  2. 4 piecebacon, sliced into small chunks
  3. 3/4onion, chopped
  4. 3/4red pepper
  5. 1 clovegarlic, crushed
  6. oregano, basil, paprika, chilli flakes- most combos will work- do it to your taste
  7. 8cherry tomatoes, halved
  8. 4sundried tomatoes, with some juice
  9. 20 gramstomato puree (guess work mostly on this)
  10. 2 1/2 tbspcreme fraiche
  11. 1/4 cupwater (or less)
  12. parmesan cheese

Steps

  1. 1

    Put spaghetti on to boil then simmer- follow instructions on the packet, or put it on for about 8-10 mins usually

  2. 2

    Meanwhile, fry up the chopped bacon for 3-4 mins until it is starting to crispen up

  3. 3

    Then add the chopped onion & pepper to the frying pan- about 3 mins

  4. 4

    Add the crushed garlic and spices into the pan, stirring and frying for about a minute

  5. 5

    Add in all the tomato-based ingredients, the water (as is needed to make it saucey) and the creme fraiche and stir in to coat the bacon, onion and pepper

  6. 6

    Drain the spaghetti when it is finished and toss it in the sauce

  7. 7

    Season well with salt and pepper

  8. 8

    Serve with some grated parmesan :)

  9. 9
