place butter in a 9" glass pie plate; place in 200°F oven until butter is melted

in a medium bowl, beat flour, milk, & eggs until well blended

pour mixture over melted butter; do no stir

drop chocolate chips evenly over flour mixture

bake at 400°F for 20-25 mins or until edges of pancake are puffed & a deep golden brown

in a small bowl, sprinkle sugar on strawberries & spoon into center of pancake; cut into wedges

served with whipped topping
