Ingredients

  1. 1large turai
  2. 2green chillies chopped
  3. 2 tablespoondesicated coconut
  4. 1 teaspooncelery seeds
  5. 1/4 teaspoonturmeric powder
  6. To tastesalt and sugar
  7. As neededoil

    At first scrape the peel off the turai

  2. 2

    Cut into thin round slices

  3. 3

    Heat oil and temper the celery seeds and green chilli

  4. 4

    Add the turai slices and saute for a minute

  5. 5

    Add salt and turmeric powder and cover it

  6. 6

    As the turai slices get soft add coconut mix well and fry

  7. 7

    Finally add sugar and mix well

  8. 8

    Jhinge fry is ready

  9. 9
