Cooking Instructions
- 1
Bring water and salt to boil and cook the rice as per package instructions.
- 2
When rice is done cooking (make sure it is not overcooked as this can make it mushy) add the butter, Turmeric and salt and pepper. Set the rice aside and keep warm.
- 3
For the shrimp, start by heating the butter and garlic, add the shrimp and cook for about 3-4 minutes until pink. Add the parsley and cook for another 30 seconds then dash over the lemon juice.
- 4
Once everything is done, plate it up and dollop the mayo on your plate (as much as you like).

Black Rice 🦑 Paella with Garlic Mayonnaise! Black Rice 🦑 Paella with Garlic Mayonnaise!
We Valencians love getting together with family or friends on Sundays to enjoy a good paella, so… Today I didn’t make a traditional paella, but I did whip up a black rice dish instead! I served it with garlic mayonnaise, which is a must in my house whenever we have this kind of rice.Living here in the U.S., some ingredients are a bit tricky to find — like squid ink — but I found some little cans of squid in its ink from the brand GOYA that work perfectly! Plus, they’re imported from Spain! As for the fish stock, I buy it ready-made because it’s hard to find the right fish here to make a good homemade broth.Even so, it turns out amazing, and my husband and I feel like we’re at a beachside chiringuito while we eat it!! 😎☀️🌊🥘🍻 Chus Molinero -

Garlic & Soy Sauce Fried Rice ♫ With Mayonnaise Garlic & Soy Sauce Fried Rice ♫ With Mayonnaise
My kids said they wanted to eat crumbly fried rice! That was what got me making this ^ ^When making the scrambled egg, if you're using a Teflon non-stick pan, you don't need oil.If the rice is soft it has too much moisture, and won't become crumbly. So I recommend using regular to firm rice. When making multiple servings, it's a bit of a pain, but I recommend limiting how much you make to 2 servings at once. It cooks more efficiently this way. Mayonnaise and Egg Rice Bowl Mayonnaise and Egg Rice Bowl
I heard somewhere that omelets turn out fluffy if you add some mayonnaise to the egg, so I thought: rather than using mayonnaise as a hidden ingredient why not add plenty of it so you can taste it. The result was something that was surprisingly delicious. The amount of mayonnaise and soy sauce is approximate. Please refer to the photos. It may seem like a lot of each, but since it's all mixed up with rice afterwards you need to flavor it rather strongly or it won't taste so good. For 1 serving. Recipe by Momopi- cookpad.japan -
