Ingredients

1 hour 30 mins
  • 6 cupketchup
  • 1/2 cuphorseradish, hot, prepared
  • 1 cupchicken broth, canned
  • 1 cupwhite vinegar
  • 1/2 cuplight corn syrup
  • 1 tbspdry mustard
  • 1 cupbrown sugar, golden brown
  • 2 tbspshallot, minced
  • 1 cupworcestershire sauce
  • 4 tbsphot sauce
  • 1 1/2 tbspkosher salt
  • 1 tbsppulled pork rub
  • 2 ozKitchen Bouquet
  • 5 tbspPick-a-Pepper Sauce, brown
  • 2 tspground black pepper

Steps

1 hour 30 mins
  1. 1

    Make a paste of the Worcester sauce and dry mustard.

  2. 2

    Combine all the rest of the ingredients together

  3. 3

    Add the paste to the mixture

  4. 4

    Blend well

  5. 5

    Bring to a boil and simmer for 1hour to reduce slightly.

  6. 6

    DO NOT ALLOW THE SAUCE TO SCORTCH!

  7. 7

    Remove from the heat and hold warm for service or cool completely and stored in the refrigerator until needed

  8. 8

    Makes 2 1/2 quarts
