  1. 2 cupsSoaked chickpeas
  2. 2 tablespoonChilli ginger garlic paste
  3. 1/2 cupRice flour
  4. 2 tablespoonFinely chopped onion
  5. 1 teaspoonPunjabi garam masala
  6. 2 teaspoonFennel seeds powder
  7. 1 teaspoonCoriander powder
  8. to tasteSalt
  9. 1 teaspoonTurmeric powder
  10. 1 teaspoonRed chilli powder
  11. 2 teaspoonDry mango powder
  12. 1/2 tspBlack pepper powder
  13. as neededOil
  14. as needed Coconut chutney

  1. 1

    Semi crush the soaked chickpeas in a blender

  2. 2

    Add chilli ginger garlic paste, chopped onion and mix well.

  3. 3

    Add Fennel seeds powder and mix well.

  4. 4

    Add coriander seeds powder, chopped coriander and rice flour and mix well.

  5. 5

    Make medium sized patties of the batter and deep fry them till golden brown.

  6. 6

    Serve hot with coconut chutney.
