Ingredients

  1. The "Dry" Mixture
  2. 270 gramsflour
  3. 1 tspbaking powder
  4. The "Wet" Mixture
  5. 4egg yolks
  6. 1 packagesvanilla sugar
  7. 270 gramssugar
  8. 10 tbspmilk
  9. 10 tbspoil
  10. Add Later
  11. 4egg whites
  12. 1 pinchsalt
  13. 1cacao or cinnamon (if you want)

Steps

    Mix the "Dry" ingredients in one bowl.

  2. 2

    Mix " Wet" ingredients in the other one bowl.

  3. 3

    Add The " Dry" Mixture to The "Wet".

  4. 4

    And only now preheat oven for about 180ºC, it cannot be too overheated because cake could get burnt really fast or on the other hand wouldn't become even baked and definitely wouldn't be so soft and delicious.

    Add a pinch of salt into bowl with egg whites and whip them.

  6. 6

    Then add wipped egg whites to the rest of the dough. Mix them in really SOFTLY!

  7. 7

    Now the basic vanilla dough is done. If you want you can also add some cocoa or cinnamon to get other flavour.

    Pour the dough on prepaired sheetmetal and put it into the oven for at least 15 minutes. Then try if its baked by sticking toothpick into different parts of cake. When you remove toothpick and it's always dry, that means cake is done.

    You can use it as basic pound cake dough for other cakes or just eat it like this with some fruits and whipped cream.
