Ingredients

2 servings
  • Rice 1cup soaked 1hour
  • 1 tbspOil
  • Chopped ginger, garlic and chillies
  • 1/2 cupChopped onions
  • 1/2 cupChopped carrots
  • 1/2 cupChopped tomatoes
  • 1/2 cupChopped green capsicum
  • Boiled peas
  • Salt, pepper and chilli powder
  • Ripe mango and Cayenne pepper for serving

Steps

  1. 1

    In a pan add oil, add chppped ginger, garlic and chillies. Sauté well for 2mins

  2. 2

    Add chopped onions, capcicums and a lil bit of salt

    Add carrots, peas and tomatoes.

  4. 4

    Add water and mix well. Add chilli powder and rest of the salt.

  5. 5

    Add the soaked rice. Mix very well

  6. 6

    Close lid and cook 10-15 mins or till all the veges and rice is well cooked.

  7. 7

    Serve rice well with a piece of ripe mango garnished with Cayenne pepper.
