Most french fry recipes involve frying or a lot of time in the oven, or maybe a lot of prep. I adjusted from lots of recipes to suit what I like and to make it easier and quicker. These potato wedges are delicious and my family loves them!

Easy Oven Baked Potato Wedges

Most french fry recipes involve frying or a lot of time in the oven, or maybe a lot of prep. I adjusted from lots of recipes to suit what I like and to make it easier and quicker. These potato wedges are delicious and my family loves them!

Ingredients

  1. 2 or morelarge russet potatoes
  2. Vegetable oil
  3. Salt and pepper (optional)
  4. Garlic powder (optional)

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 400° F.

    Scrub and wash potatoes.

  3. 3

    Cut potatoes in half and then into thick slices, about a half inch.

  4. 4

    On a baking sheet pour a bit of vegetable oil to thinly cover the bottom of the baking sheet.

  5. 5

    Place wedges on baking sheet in single layer.

  6. 6

    Place in oven for about 15-20 minutes or until bottom of wedges are golden brown.

  7. 7

    Turn wedges over and continue baking for about 10 minutes.

  8. 8

    Add salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste and enjoy!
