Ingredients

  • 300 gmcarrot (gajar) grated
  • 100 gmgrated khoya (mawa)
  • 3 tbspcondensed milk
  • 1 tbspchopped almond and cashews
  • 1/2 tspcardamom powder
  • 2 tbspdeshi ghee
  • 1 pinchsalt
  • 1 tspchopped pista for garnish

Steps

  1. 1

    In a heavy bottom pan heat the ghee in low medium heat. Fry the nuts and then the grated mawa.

  2. 2

    Add grated carrot and a pinch of salt and cook for 5 minutes to get soften gajar.

    Now mix condensed milk and cook till moisture dries up. Cool and mix cardamom powder. Garnish with chopped pista.

    Yummy and mouthwatering gajer halwa is ready to serve.
