Ingredients

20 minutes
8-10 servings
  1. 500 gramraw mango
  2. 750 gramsugar
  3. 1 teaspoonmustard seeds
  4. 1/2 teaspoonturmeric powder
  5. To tastesalt
  6. As neededoil
  7. As neededwater

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Peel the mangoes and cut into thin slices

  2. 2

    Boil the mango slices adding salt

  3. 3

    Strain the water and keep the slices aside

  4. 4

    Heat oil in a wok temper the mustard seeds

  5. 5

    Add the boiled mango slices and mix salt along with turmeric powder

  6. 6

    Add sugar and mix well allow it to cook properly

  7. 7

    As it reached a jelly like consistency remove it from oven

  8. 8

    Cool it down and serve
