Ingredients

150 servings
  1. 2 cupspineapple preserves
  2. 1 lb (4 sticks)butter
  3. 1 packagelight brown sugar
  4. 4 1/2 cupsself-rising flour
  5. 3 tablespoonsmilk
  6. 1 tablespoonbaking soda
  7. 1 teaspoonvanilla extract
  8. 3eggs
  9. 12 slicescandied pineapple
  10. 1 poundcandied cherries (red and green)
  11. 2 poundschopped dates
  12. 12 cupschopped peacans
  13. 2 cupsflour

Cooking Instructions

15 mins
  1. 1

    Cut up candied fruit and nuts and sprinkle with 2 cups of flour.

    Cream butter, add sugar, milk, eggs and mix well. Add dry ingredients and pineapple preserves.

    Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Cook 20 minutes at 325°.

the recipe isn't completely clear on how many cups of flour, i did 2 plain flour in the fruit and nuts and 4.5 cups in the batter, my cookies do not look like the ones in the photo. please let me know if that is correct - waiting to make another batch
