Mix potatoes, salt, red chilli powder, onion, garam masala powder, chaat masala, coriander leaves, carrot and four tablespoons oats in a bowl.

Add 6 tbsp water to the refined flour and make a thick batter.

Spread the remaining oats evenly to the plate. Now divide the potato mixture into eight equal portion and give them a shape of tikkis.

Dip them in batter and roll in the oats and keep aside.

Heat the non stick tawa and shallow fry the tikkis on medium heat turning aside till both sides get golden brown.

Serve hot with mint chutney.
