Blueberry Streusel Muffins

Truth is, I am a sucker for a tasty muffin. My hometown donut shop serves ginormous, fresh blueberries muffins... my fav then and now. As a kid I couldn’t wait to get my hand on those muffins! This recipe brought me back to my childhood! Again this is a recipe I found on Taste of Home. I thank Mary Anne McWhirter from Texas for sharing this easy recipe!

Steps
- 1
Preheat over to 375.
- 2
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla; mix well.
- 3
Combine the flour, baking powder and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Then fold in blue berries (I recommend using fresh blueberries, if you can)
- 4
Fill 12 greased or paper-lined muffin cups two-thirds full.
- 5
In a small bowl, combine the sugar, flour, and cinnamon; cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over muffins
- 6
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until browned. Cool for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack. Enjoy!
